所謂翻譯，就是把一種語言轉換成另一種語言的行為，從本質上來講是為了文化交流，為各個不同的民族國家提供相互了解的渠道。因此，準確精致的翻譯是基于對文化的深層次理解而非僅僅詞匯量的堆積。

窗含西嶺千秋雪， My window frames the snow-crowned western mountain scene; 門泊東吳萬里船。 My door oft says to eastward-going ships "Goodbye!"
